Electropolishing: A cleaning and surface finishing process, commonly used for stainless steel, in which electric currents remove all impurities that could cause corrosion. It can also be used with copper, brass, or aluminum parts.

Hot-dip galvanizing: This is a surface treatment that helps protect the part against corrosion. The process is achieved by immersing the part in liquid zinc at about 450 degrees Celsius, so that small particles of pure zinc completely adhere to the part.

Geomet: It is a coating composed of zinc and aluminum flakes within an inorganic matrix that is obtained by applying aqueous dispersions through cold immersion or spraying. It is a good solution especially for threaded parts, as it prevents zinc residues from sticking to the screw threads, thus facilitating the assembly of the parts.

Electrolytic zinc plating: In this case, steel parts are placed in a solution of zinc salts, which through electrolysis, cause zinc particles to deposit on the entire surface of the part, providing protection against corrosion.
